How long before my order is dispatched
All our frames are hand made and finished to your specifications – Unfortunately this takes a bit longer than picking items from a shelf

 

Unless you’re having a frame personalised, we aim to dispatch your order within five working days, and often much sooner (gift wrapping and Harris Tweed options shouldn’t affect delivery times too much if at all).
My frame is personalised - how long before my order is dispatched?
Personalised frames can take up to 20 days to make, but often much quicker.

 

If you require your frame before a specific date eg a birthday or anniversary – please leave a note in the order notes section (at the checkout) we will endeavour to do our upmost to achieve this, but will contact you if we feel it would be unlikely for whatever reason.

How long will delivery take?
This depends on your location. The UK mainland is usually within 24 hours. The highland and islands are usually within 48 hours. Please note these times are not guaranteed.

 

For overseas deliveries the transit time is usually 3 – 5 days for Europe and north America, all other countries can take up to 10 days, but often sooner.

 

Please note in some rare instances there may be delays at customs, which we cannot control – if this is the case you will be notified. For more information please see our “Possible delays and customs” FAQ
How much do you charge for delivery?
All our delivery charges are calculated at the checkout – before you pay. The price is worked out by using the weight of your total order and the delivery address.

 

Delivery charges are calculated by our shipping company and unfortunately we can’t change them.
Can I have my order 'rushed' / Expedited?
Expedited orders are available – please contact us to discuss your requirements in more detail. Please note additional delivery / handiling charges may be incurred.

 

Can I track my order?
Yes. When we dispatch an order we will notify you via email and include a tracking number with a link to the courier company.
Do I have to sign for my delivery?
Normally yes, but if you instruct us via the order notes section at the checkout to “leave in a safe place if no one available” or “Leave with Number 10 if nobody available” then we will pass this message on to the courier company.

 

Please note we will simply relay this message – we can not be held responsible for lost / delayed deliveries or wrongly interpreted instructions.
What about busy periods like Christmas?
During busy periods (especially Christmas) delivery times can increase. We do take on additional staff to deal with these demands.

 

To ensure delivery for before Christmas please place your order before Dec 15th for non personalised frames and the 5th of December for personalised frames.

 

If your frame is to be delivered overseas the please allow an additional 5 days

 

We encourage you to contact us directly if you require your order by a certain date. We will do everything we can to get your order to you.

 

Possible delays and customs
Very occasionally, unavoidable factors can delay a parcel (for example, bad weather or postal strikes). If this happens we will contact you and, where possible and appropriate, will agree a revised delivery date with you.

 

If your item is being shipped out with the EU (Europe) it may be subject to customs.

 

Whisky frames will fill out all the paperwork relevant to customs of the receiving country, but very rarely delays can occur. If there are any problems you should be notified (or your tracking number will indicate its status). Please contact us if there are any issues and we will endeavor to help the best we can
